Market research
Helping companies build relationships with their customers is something I am passionate about as marketer. From 2013-2015 I worked on an audience capacity study with the Hewlett Foundation. I worked with the firm WolfBrown to develop over 52 market research plans for performing arts organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area. We met with the organizations to establish research goals to improve audience engagement and retention. At the end of the study we compiled and shared the results from the qualitative and quantitative data and audience insights with the organizations.
In less than a year after the study audience growth and retention for the organizations improved dramatically with new programs, structures for audience growth, and the addition of new marketing tools for staff.
Featured organizations in the study included the San Francisco Ballet, Stern Grove Festival, Berkeley Rep, The Contemporary Jewish Museum, Yerba Buena Garden Festival, Alonzo Lines Ballet, Joe Goode Performance Group, East Bay Center for the Performing Arts, and Z Space.
