Movement is my North Star

My passion is movement. I have over 20 years of dance and fitness training. I believe health and fitness can positively influence all aspects of one’s life. I am a certified fitness trainer and dance instructor for all age groups. Over the last 8 years, my classes have included programs in high-intensity interval training, cardio circuit training, kickboxing, and Zumba classes for adults, teens, and kids. Fitness is a journey where progress is the end goal - not perfection. I love empowering others to create a life they love to live.

Giving back is so important to me. One of the most rewarding projects I managed was a YMCA health program for underprivileged teens. The program was designed to teach the teens how to make healthy meals and incorporate fitness into their daily lives. It was an incredible experience. The teens tried new recipes together, motivated each other during workouts, and always left the class with smiles. I learned how “keeping it simple” and small shifts in perspective can create opportunities and remove limitations we put on ourselves.

The physical and mental gifts of fitness are endless! Fitness can fuel your drive to reach your goals and get rid of those obstacles holding you back. Let’s get stronger together!

HIIT Classes

High-intensity interval training classes are intense, efficient, fun, and boost your fitness fast! HIIT workouts can improve cardiovascular fitness by working your anaerobic and aerobic energy systems. Some of the benefits include regulating your blood glucose levels, improving the maximum rate at which your heart, lungs, and muscles can effectively use oxygen during exercise, and it’s a more efficient form of cardio! The exercise and sets can be modified to meet all fitness levels which is why HIIT is perfect for everyone!
